How an independent agency works and what happens after you ask for a quote.

What does it mean that Absolute Insurance Solutions is an independent agency?
We don't work for one insurance company. We are appointed with more than ten carriers (Progressive, Safeco, Travelers, Nationwide, Liberty Mutual and others), so we can quote the same coverage with several of them and recommend the best fit. We are paid the same by any of them, so we can recommend the one that fits.
Does it cost anything to get a quote or work with an agent?
No. Quotes are free and there is no fee for working with us. Agents are paid by the carrier that issues your policy, and the price you pay is the carrier's filed rate. We do not add a fee on top.
Which areas do you serve?
Our office is in downtown Kirkland and most of our clients are on the Eastside and across Greater Seattle: Bellevue, Redmond, Bothell, Woodinville, Sammamish, Renton and Seattle itself. We write policies anywhere in Washington, and we are also licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina, with a second office in Greenville, SC.
What languages do you speak?
English, Spanish, Russian and Chinese. Several of our agents are native Russian speakers, and many of our clients bought their very first U.S. insurance policy with us. We go through what the policy covers before we talk about price.
How fast can I get a quote?
Most auto, renters and homeowners quotes come back the same business day once we have your details. Business and contractors policies depend on the carrier's underwriting and may take a day or two. Call us if you need coverage bound quickly, for example before a closing or a job start.
What do I need to have ready for a quote?
For auto: driver's license numbers, VINs and your current declarations page if you have one. For home: the address, year built, roof age and any recent updates. For business: your UBI number, trade or industry, estimated annual revenue and payroll. If you do not have all of it, a name and phone number are enough to start.
Can I switch insurance companies in the middle of my policy?
Yes. You can cancel most personal policies at any time and the carrier refunds the unused portion of the premium under the policy's cancellation terms. We line up the new policy first so there is no gap in coverage, then handle the cancellation of the old one for you.
Do you help with claims?
Yes. You report the claim to the carrier's 24/7 claims line, and we stay involved: we explain what your policy covers, help you gather documents and follow up with the adjuster if something stalls.
What types of insurance do you offer?
Personal lines: auto, homeowners, condo, renters, life, health, motorcycle, boat and watercraft, teen drivers, SR-22 filings and flood. Business lines: commercial packages, general liability, contractors insurance, bonds and trucking. If you need something else, ask us.
Where is your office and when are you open?
733 7th Ave, Suite 204, Kirkland, WA 98033, a short walk from downtown Kirkland. We are open Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, and most of our work happens by phone, text and email, so you rarely need to visit in person.
